JJ is known for his love of music, hard work and making our community better. We’re honored to have him join our organization. JJ is a dedicated broadcasting music-industry professional with a vested interest in Non-Commercial Educational radio. He has been professionally involved in public radio for over a decade as a host, producer, and manager. JJ is currently the General Manager of Trinity University’s KRTU 91.7FM where he also teaches audio production. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor of Radio Broadcasting at the University of the Incarnate Word. He holds a BA in Cultural Studies and Philosophy and an MA in Communication Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word. JJ is an avid record collector with 25 years experience as a Disc Jockey. Favorite music: Soul, Disco, Funk, and Jazz.
